Le laboratoire d’études et d’interventions en anxiété, dirigé par Geneviève Belleville, est à la recherche d’une personne pour effectuer un stage postdoctoral.
Le laboratoire se spécialise en interventions cognitivo-comportementales pour le traitement des difficultés en lien avec les troubles de stress post-traumatiques, l’insomnie, la dépression et les cauchemars à la suite d’un événement traumatique. Les projets en cours portent sur le développement d’une application web d’autotraitement visant la promotion de la résilience et la réduction des symptômes des personnes ayant vécu une ou des agressions sexuelles. Le stage consistera principalement en l’analyse de données déjà collectées, la rédaction d’articles scientifiques et la participation aux projets en cours.
Le stage peut être effectué entièrement à distance.
Salaire et durée
La durée du stage est de 12 mois, à temps plein (35 heures par semaine). Le salaire annualisé est de 48 000$, incluant les avantages sociaux (jours fériés, 20 jours de vacances rémunérées, assurances collectives), selon les politiques en vigueur à l’Université Laval. La date d’entrée en poste est le 5 septembre 2022.
La personne choisie sera appelée à soumettre une demande de soutien salarial pour stage postdoctoral à la Faculté des sciences sociales.
Possibilité de renouveler le stage pour une année supplémentaire, sous réserve de disponibilité des fonds.
Tâches et rôle
• Analyse de données;
• Rédaction d’articles scientifiques;
• Présentations des résultats dans divers congrès pertinents;
• Implications dans la vie sociale du laboratoire (réunions bimensuelles, activités de réseautage);
• Soutien à la coordonnatrice de recherche pour les projets de recherche en cours.
Expérience et compétences
• Ph. D. en psychologie ou dans un domaine connexe avec spécialisation en santé mentale (sciences infirmières, psychopédagogie, travail social, etc.);
• Connaissances en interventions psychologiques et approche cognitivo-comportementale;
• Expertise et autonomie dans l’analyse quantitative de données; maîtrise des logiciels pertinents (SPSS, SAS et/ou Mplus);
• Expérience dans l’analyse qualitative et les logiciels pertinents (Nvivo et/ou QDA Miner), un atout;
• Excellentes habiletés de rédaction scientifique, en anglais et en français;
• Aptitude à travailler de façon indépendante;
Admissibilité
• Être titulaire, depuis moins de 5 ans, d’un Ph. D. ou l’équivalent;
• Avoir la citoyenneté canadienne, la résidence permanente ou détenir un permis de travail.

POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP

The Anxiety Studies and Interventions Lab, directed by Geneviève Belleville, is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow.
The lab specializes in cognitive-behavioural interventions for the treatment of difficulties related to post-traumatic stress disorder, insomnia, depression and nightmares following a traumatic event. Current projects focus on the development of a web-based self-treatment app aimed at promoting resilience and reducing symptoms for people who have experienced sexual assault. The position will consist primarily of analyzing data already collected, producing scientific articles, and participating in ongoing projects.
The fellowship can be entirely done remotely.
Salary and position duration
The duration of the position is 12 months, full-time (35 hours per week). The annualized salary is $48,000, including benefits (statutory holidays, 20 paid vacation days, group insurance), according to the policies in effect at Université Laval. The starting date for the position is September 5, 2022.
The selected candidate will be invited to submit an application for postdoctoral salary support to the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Renewal of the position for an additional year is possible, provided that funding is available.
Duties and roles
• Data analysis;
• Producing scientific papers;
• Presentations of results at various relevant conferences;
• Involvement in the social life of the lab (bi-monthly meetings, networking activities);
• Support to the research coordinator for ongoing research projects.
Experience and skills
• Ph.D. in psychology or a related field with a specialization in mental health (nursing, psychoeducation, social work, etc.);
• Knowledge of psychological interventions and cognitive-behavioural approaches;
• Expertise and autonomy in quantitative data analysis; proficiency in relevant software (SPSS, SAS and/or Mplus);
• Experience in qualitative analysis and relevant software (Nvivo and/or QDA Miner), an asset;
• Excellent scientific writing skills in English and French;
• Ability to work independently.
Eligibility
• Have obtained a Ph.D. or its equivalent within the last 5 years;
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or hold a work permit.
